LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Eastbound I-496 is back open after being closed for several hours due to an accident.

Drivers in Ingham County were asked to avoid the area of Eastbound I-496 between Waverly Rd and Clare St due to an accident around 1:10 p.m.
