MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - As we head into Saturday evening, southern Wisconsin is enjoying another warm late September day with sunshine and breezy southwest winds. Temperatures reached the mid-80s earlier in the afternoon, which is quite a bit warmer than average for this time of year. A cold front sitting northwest of us will slip through by around midnight, but it won’t bring rain, just a change in air. Winds will swing around to the north and northwest, drawing in drier Canadian air overnight.

By Sunday morning, the milder air will be noticeable. Lows will dip to near 50, while some may drop down into the upper 40s, and with light winds, there’s a chance for patchy fog to develop, mainly west of Madison. Fog coul
