Colorado authorities have started blocking leaf-peepers from accessing Guanella Pass. That's because the overwhelming amount of vehicles at the popular fall colors viewing destination during the day on Saturday resulted in standstill traffic in Georgetown.

The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office announced early in the afternoon that they've started turning cars around after they've gotten off Interstate 70 and before they can get into Georgetown.
