Arne Slot blasted one of his Liverpool stars for being of ‘no use’ after making the wrong decision in the lead-up to Crystal Palace’s dramatic winner.

In a meeting between the Premier League’s only remaining unbeaten sides on Saturday afternoon, Palace led for 87 minutes at Selhurst Park until Federico Chiesda’s equaliser appeared to rescue a point for the champions.

But there was late drama in south east London with Eddie Nketiah slotting past Alisson with the last kick of the game seven minutes into injury time to seal all three points.

Marc Guehi’s flick-on found its way to Nketiah who was unmarked at the far post, able to take the ball down on his chest before finding the back of the net.
