LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- The Ingham County Sheriff's Office confirms a 61-year-old Williamston man was killed in a Saturday morning crash.

Deputies say it happened at 9 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-96 near Okemos Road.

The unnamed driver of the motorcycle went off the interstate into a ditch, according to deputies. The man was wearing a helmet, but died at the scene.
