AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - This week is child passenger safety week, and one local organization is making sure kids are in the right car seat.

The Kroc Center gave free car seat checks Saturday to give parents a chance to get their kids in the right seat.

According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, two children under the age of 14 were killed in crashes in 2023.
