MOORHEAD — Kate Corradi's goal in the 49th minute broke a 10-match scoreless streak for the Concordia women's soccer team Saturday.
Unfortunately for the Cobbers, it wasn't enough to overcome a Bethel team that picked up its first win of the season with a 4-1 result over Concordia in a MIAC contest played at Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex.
Corradi's goal was the first for Concordia since Oct. 22, 2024 when the now-graduated Emily Larsen scored against the same Royals squad to earn a 1-1 draw.
The Cobbers (0-5-3) had gone nine straight matches without a goal prior to Saturday.
Bethel took a 2-0 lead at halftime and doubled that total in the second half. Malia Beilby scored twice for the Royals.
Bethel outshot Concordia 20-14 with an 11-8 edge in shots on target. Cobbers goalkeeper
