MORGANTOWN, W.V. (ABC4 Sports) - After last week's devastating 34-10 loss to Texas Tech, there were questions if the Utes would be able to bounce back on the road against West Virginia.
It appears as thought the Utes are doing just fine.
Devon Dampier threw a career-high four touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead Utah to a dominating 48-14 win over West Virginia on Saturday.
Last week, Dampier was intercepted twice, fumbled the ball away once and the Utes were held to 263 total yards. But it was a completely different story against the Mountaineers.
Utah (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) gained yards in chunks, and scored touchdowns on its first three drives and was never challenged by a West Virginia offense that was missing several key players, including quarterback Nicco Marchiol.
