ATHENS, P.A. (WENY) -- According to the Guthrie Clinic's Facebook page, the Athens Clinic will be temporarily closed. The post , uploaded on Saturday morning, says this is due to damage from a vehicle.

Representatives from Guthrie say all appointments originally scheduled at Guthrie Athens are being moved to the Family Medicine department at the Sayre Clinic. Providers will remain the same, so patients will continue care with their current doctors.

Patients with impacted appointments will receive more details by phone or text, according to the clinic.

Guthrie officials say their team is assessing the extent of the damage and creating a plan for repairs.
