BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) -- No. 2 South Dakota State rolled to a 51-7 win over Mercyhurst at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium Saturday afternoon.

The Jackrabbits scored on all nine of their drives. They led 23-7 at halftime and tacked on two touchdowns in each of the third and fourth quarters.

The Jacks outgained the Lakers 469-154, including 343-111 through the air. They limited Mercyhurst to 41 yards on the ground.

SDSU quarterback Chase Mason went 21-for-29 for 321 yards and three touchdowns. Grahm Goering caught seven passes for 101 yards. Alex Bullock hauled in six catches for 75 yards and one score. James Basinger rushed for two touchdowns and 53 yards.

South Dakota State is set to visit Youngstown State next week.
