Yuma County football in Week Five produced a wide range of scores on Friday night, as all eight local schools took the field for seven matchups at home and around the state. Here are all the results from Friday night

Cibola 49, Somerton 0

Cibola (3-1) dominated Somerton (0-4) on Friday night at Raider Field 49-0, beating a Somerton team that shrunk in size throughout the contest due to a multitude of injuries.

Raiders’ senior quarterback Xavier Rodriguez finally got his chance to get the Raider pass game up and humming and didn’t miss it, completing 13 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns.

Four different Cibola skill players found the end zone on a high-scoring night at Raider Field.

Cibola hosts Palo Verde Valley (2-4) next week, while Somerton visits Kofa.
