KINDER, La. (KPLC) - A three-vehicle crash in Allen Parish Friday night claimed the life of a 59-year-old DeQuincy man.

Shortly after 8 p.m., Louisiana State Police (LSP) Troop D began investigating a three-vehicle fatal crash on U.S. 190 near Richard Smith Road in Allen Parish. The crash ultimately claimed the life of Dexter Thomas.

LSP says Thomas was driving a 2011 GMC Sierra east on U.S. 190. At the same time, a 2013 18-wheeler was traveling west on U.S. 190, followed by a 2022 Ram 2500 pulling a trailer. The GMC crossed the centerline and struck the left side of the 18-wheeler before also striking the left side of the trailer being pulled by the Ram.
