(FOX40.COM) — The Placer County Sheriff's Office has arrested three people following a shooting on Friday morning in North Auburn.
The sheriff's office said three suspects were arrested after an exchange of gunfire occurred around 4 a.m. near Opal and Quartz Drive. No one was injured during the incident; however, the bullets struck an apartment unit and the vehicle of one of the involved parties.
"Thanks to the swift response by deputies, an investigation was quickly launched," PSCO said. "Detectives took over the case and were able to identify and locate all three individuals involved."
On late Saturday afternoon, PCSO said the last suspect was taken into custody. Detectives were also able to locate the firearm used in the incident.
At this time, this remains an active investigation.
