Leeds United were denied a worthy win yesterday with a late lapse of concentration but there is lots to be positive about from the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

While it was the visitors who dominated possession, the hosts had the better chances with eight of the 19 shots fired in directed on target. Three fell to Dominic Calvert-Lewin but he could not convert with any of his opportunities.

Daniel Farke said he was disappointed with the way in which Leeds conceded the free-kick that led to the late equaliser. The entity of ‘margins’ often comes up in Premier League discourse and Leeds have been reminded of that twice now.
