COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A Fairfield County man has died after being involved in a crash in Kershaw County early Saturday morning.

According to 911 records, a call was received at 3:19 a.m. reporting a single-vehicle collision on West DeKalb Street in Camden.

Kershaw County coroner David West said the crash happened when a 2004 GMC pickup was traveling east when it veered off the road and struck a power pole.

Coroner West said the driver, 61-year-old John Graham Campbell of Ridgeway, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Camden Police Department and the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
