LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police said a man who they asked for help finding has been found safe.

In an update on Saturday, Sept. 27, Louisville police said 47-year-old Jason Oberhausen was found safe.

An Operation Return Home alert was released by the Louisville Metro Police Department on Thursday, Sept. 25, for Oberhausen after family members told police he has indicated his intention to harm himself.

Oberhause last seen in the 1100 block of East Broadway on Wednesday, which is near Barret Avenue, before he was found.
