Congressman Ben Cline finally came to Lexington on Thursday for a town hall meeting, and after a very confusing registration process I and my wife received tickets to attend. His website indicated there were 120 seats in the courtroom. As we and many others noted, as soon as you signed up, we were told we were on a waiting list. We expected the room would be full. There were only between 35 to 38 people there.

I expected the purpose would be that the representative would say a few opening remarks and then he or she would listen to the concerns and questions of the constituents. However, the first 35 minutes involved Mr. Cline talking about his accomplishments and what the Republicans have done to make this a better place.
