A former school in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles that has previously burned went up in flames again Saturday.
The fire was reported at 6:12 p.m. Saturday at 1218 S. Menlo Ave., north of Pico Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
Flames were showing from the roof of the two-story building when firefighters arrived, Humphrey said.
A team of 50 firefighters put out the flames in 18 minutes, he said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, Humphrey said.
