Berwick Bandits rounded off their Cab Direct Championship campaign with a 48-42 win at Workington Comets to confirm fifth place in the table.

It was the Bandits’ first away win since May 2024 and the result moved them to within two points of play-off qualifiers Edinburgh in the final standings.

Danish star Peter Kildemand (pictured courtesy of Berwick Bandits) scored a 14+1 paid maximum against his former club, having represented the Comets at their former Derwent Park home in the early stages of his career.

Jonas Jeppesen was also unbeaten with 10+2 from four rides, and skipper Drew Kemp weighed in with 12 from five. Antti Vuolas scored 10 for the hosts, who end the season seventh in the table.
