DUBLIN -- The Pittsburgh Steelers expect running back Jaylen Warren to play against the Minnesota Vikings , sources told PennLive and reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Warren suffered a knee injury against the New England Patriots and was limited throughout the week, however, the team expects him to play after he responded well to treatment.

Warren played far more snaps than Kenneth Gainwell this last week. Gainwell played just 14 snaps, while Warren played 43 snaps, the highest snap share in his entire career to this point.

Warren’s quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, thinks that the running back can be a feature back in the NFL, too. He has been the lead dog in the backfield so far in terms of touches, but was still taken off the field at inopportune times throughout the game.
