DUBLIN -- Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren is surprisingly inactive against the Minnesota Vikings . Warren’s knee injury popped up earlier this week, with the running back wearing a knee brace in the locker room and he shed it later in the week, but the team will now give him time to rest it over the bye week.

Without him around, Kenneth Gainwell and Kaleb Johnson will step up to take more work. In all likelihood, Trey Sermon will also get some work after being elevated.

Warren played far more snaps than Gainwell this last week. Gainwell played just 14 snaps, while Warren played 43 snaps, the highest snap share in his entire career to this point.
