The haunting last Facebook messages sent by a woman in the weeks before she was stabbed to death by her boyfriend have been revealed.

Angela Silk – also known as Angela Goodwin – died at the hands of her abusive partner, Alexander George O’Sachy, in 2021 after she was stabbed in the leg during a violent domestic dispute in Brisbane.

O’Sachy is due to be sentenced for her manslaughter after pleading guilty at the Supreme Court earlier this week to the downgraded charge.

But any sentence is cold comfort for Ms Silk’s grieving family, especially for her children who have lost the guiding light in their lives.

The proceedings have also shone a light on O’Sachy’s link to the deaths of two teenagers and the fatal overdose of another woman he was in a relationship with.
