New Delhi (27.09.2025): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has appointed 10 Special Director Generals and Special Directors in various Central Armed Police Forces and Intelligence Services from various cadres. Some of the posts have been in-situ upgraded. The names and new positions are as follows.

Zaki Ahmad (IPS: 1993: UP), IG, CRPF, has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF till date of his superannuation i.e. 31.03.2028.

Raja Srivastava (IPS: 1994: UP), ADG, CRPF, has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF till date of his superannuation i.e. 28.02.2029.

Amit Kumar (IPS: 1994: BH), ADG, CRPF has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF till date of his superannuation i.e. 31.10.2030.
