MEDIA — The Delaware County Health Department announced its fall flu vaccination schedule.

The agency will hold three special-event clinics, including one drive-thru event, in October as well as continue its standing immunization clinic hours at its Wellness Centers in Chester and Yeadon.

Through these offerings, DCHD is working to make vaccinations as easy as possible for residents to receive ahead of the winter months.

“As we head into flu season, now is the time to get vaccinated,” stated Lora Siegmann Werner, director of the department. “The flu can be serious, but the vaccine is safe, effective, and widely available at no cost through our clinics. We encourage all residents to take advantage of these opportunities.”
