RIVERVIEW, mo. -- Authorities in Missouri are searching for Carolyn Burns, a 70-year-old woman who was reported missing early yesterday morning in North St. Louis.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and St. Louis police are collaborating in the search for Burns, who was last seen on SE Chambers Road near the Riverview area.

Burns is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown suit.

Officers have noted that Burns has dementia, which adds urgency to the search efforts.

Authorities are urging anyone who sees Burns to call 911 or contact the St. Louis police at 314-444-0001.
