Chennai, Sep 28: Following the tragic stampede at Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) President Vijay’s campaign rally in Karur, which has claimed 40 lives, the party has filed a petition in the Madras High Court demanding an independent and transparent investigation into the disaster.
TVK deputy general secretary C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar confirmed that the plea is scheduled for urgent hearing before the Madurai Bench on Monday at 2:15 p.m. He emphasized the party’s call for an impartial probe to ensure justice for the victims.
