The Ryder Cup host who 'quit' after an expletive-laden chant aimed at Rory McIlroy has broken her silence on social media . ‌

Team Europe put in a dominant display during the final round of fourballs - but Europe, and McIlroy, had to deal with a hostile American crowd at Bethpage Black, New York . ‌

McIlroy had been playing the pantomime villain by blowing kisses to hecklers, but the crowd started to get under his skin as he turned and yelled: "shut the f*** up," and refusing to putt until they quietened down. ‌
