HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A two-vehicle head-on collision Saturday night in Hamden has killed two people, including a child, the fire department confirmed.
The crash happened at 10:00 p.m. between Davis Street and Rogers Road. Two vehicles collided head-on, and five people were rushed to the hospital.
The Hamden Fire Department shared that two people died in the collision, including a seven-year-old child.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends impacted by this heartbreaking incident,” Hamden Fire Chief Shelly Carter said.
A peer support team is available to all firefighters.
Officials have not shared the names of the deceased.
