LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A multi-vehicle accident in the Portland neighborhood ended with a car crashing into a business.

The accident happened before 1 p.m. at the intersection of South 29th and West Market Street.

According to Louisville Metro Police, the accident involved a black SUV and a blue sedan. The details are unclear, but following the collision, the SUV crashed into Mis Nicey’s BBQ Food Mart, pushing a smoker into the front window of the business.

WHAS11 spoke with owners Mark Jones and Robert Walker whose new smoker was damaged in the crash. They said it was a minor setback for a major comeback.

Jones and Walker also said to send prayers for them and those involved in the crash.
