Thousands of runners from around the world are participating in the races.
After leaving the starting line in Jackson Park, half-marathon runners go north, with picturesque views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. After the turnaround, runners go south on DuSable Lake Shore Drive, getting glimpses of South Side neighborhoods like Kenwood and Hyde Park.
Runners will also spot the Museum of Science and Industry campus as they near the end of the course bef
