BAZETTA, Ohio (WKBN) - The Bazetta Fire Department is ready for a big upgrade.

The station has been awarded a federal grant of almost $50,000.

The grant money comes from FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. It will be used for new gear, including coats and helmets.

The total amount includes only a 5% contribution from the department.
