Youngest IITian : Satyam Kumar, a child prodigy from a tiny village in Bihar, became the youngest-ever to crack the the IIT-JEE examination in when cleared the tough entrance examination in 2012 at just 12 years of age. At an age when most kids are still figuring out basic arithmetic in middle school, Satyam earned the distinction of being the youngest student to clear the II-JEE with All-India Rank (AIR) of 8137.

A year later, the young genius took another shot at the exam, and this time bettered his rank to 670 to become the India’s youngest IITian. He was just 13 at the time.
