West Midlands Police has issued an update as officers probe reports a boy was the victim of an alleged racist attack in a Birmingham park.
The force had arrested a man, aged in his 40s, on suspicion of assault after an incident in Yardley Park on Friday, September 26.
Police have urged the public not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding the case.

It followed claims from the boy's dad on social media that his 1
