WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) - When the A's made the move to Sacramento ahead of the 2025 season, they chose not to include "Sacramento" in their team name. That is changing for the 2026 season.

At least, on their jerseys.

While it is unknown as this time if the team formerly known as the "Oakland" A's will be known as the "Sacramento" A's, their new alternate gold jersey will have the city name across the front.

The A's made that announcement on Sunday, hours before they play the final game of their first season in West Sacramento (against the Kansas City Royals).
