Emma Harvie was already on her way to becoming an established presence on Aussie TV screens when she was cast in the central role of Meggles in the hugely successful Aussie comedy, Colin From Accounts.
She’d already scored roles in Frayed, In Limbo, The Letdown and ABC’s under-the-radar Diary of an Uber Driver, but it was Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer’s little show about a scruffy dog called Colin that changed everything for the actor.
Now, she’s on the ascent.
“It really has been incredible,” says Harvie, who is chatting to The Nightly via Zoom from the Universal Studios lot in Los Angeles.
Harvie is there taking meetings with casting directors and producers while on a trip to visit her sister who lives Stateside, and has just had a baby.
