SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Sumner County Schools is moving forward with its plan to host a “Charlie Kirk Day of Peaceful Civic Discourse” amid polarizing reactions from the community.
Following push-back from parents, the Sumner County Schools Superintendent Scott Langford shared a message Friday with more details on what the day will entail. The reactions came after Sumner County School Board signed off on the day in a Tuesday night vote.
