KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Mostly clear and mild tonight as temperatures fall into the low 60s. Winds will come from the northeast at 5 mph.

MONDAY: We will start off nice and mild with a mostly clear sky. By the afternoon, temperatures will soar into the low to middle 80s area wide with a few passing clouds. I cannot rule out an isolated shower, especially along the TN/NC boarder and in the Smokies.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy with a few isolated mountain showers in the late afternoon. High temperatures will sit in the low 80s.

LOOKING AHEAD: More seasonable and fall like weather enter the scene looking towards the later half of the work week with drier air, cool mornings in the 50s, and afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
