A woman facing a string of animal cruelty charges is set to front a lengthy hearing in Tamworth in 2026.
Katherine Brown, 44, was excused from appearing when her case was briefly mentioned in Tamworth Local Court on September 22, but was represented by her solicitor, Kasey Burr.
Brown, who remains on bail, is facing multiple cruelty offences alleged to have occurred to horses under her care in the Tamworth district.
She has entered pleas of not guilty to an initial 12 alleged breaches of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979, brought against her by NSW RSPCA .
In August, the NSW RSPCA laid an additional six charges in the matter.
