DUBLIN — With the setting sun still glistening off in the distance, illuminating historic Croke Park and the surrounding neighborhoods, a steady stream of foot traffic remained.
Steelers fans walked up and down Jones Road, hooting and hollering. Some posed for pictures. A man on the third floor of the Croke Park Hotel waved his Terrible Towel and shouted in celebration to anyone who walked past.
The scene was peaceful, fun, the jubilant aftermath of the Steelers’ 24-21 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in front of 74,512 that hiked their record to 3-1 entering the bye week.
But as much as this might’ve felt like the North Shore — the explosion over “Renegade,” the ovation the Steelers received when entering the field to “Thunderstruck” and Yinzers clapping along with Jimmy Pol’s “Steel
