Before the week even began, Blaire Bayless said the Pitt volleyball team was anxious to get revenge on SMU. The Mustangs were the only team to beat the Panthers in the regular season last year. The Panthers didn’t want to get beat by them again.
Everything was going according to plan heading into the second match of the home-and-home ACC series. Pitt defeated SMU in five sets on the road on Wednesday.
