ANN ARBOR, MI — It’s official: a record-setting 112,408 fans were in attendance for the Zach Bryan and John Mayer concert at Michigan Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Concert promoter AEG Presents and David Ablauf, the University of Michigan’s senior associate athletic director, confirmed the final audience count on Sunday afternoon.
That puts the seven-hour, five-act show in the history books as the largest ticketed concert in U.S. history.
It also set a merchandise sales record in the amount of $5 million, according to AEG.
It was the first-ever major ticketed concert at the Big House, home to the Wolverines college football team and the largest stadium in the U.S. and the third largest in the world.
