OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Three people were taken to the hospital and two are in custody after a crash in North Omaha early Sunday morning.

An investigation found that a stolen Hyundai Sonata filed to come to a complete stop at the intersection of 25th Avenue and Vane Street around 2:40 a.m.

As the Hyundai entered the intersection, it was struck by a speeding Chevy Tahoe, causing the Chevy to leave the road and roll.

Three boys in the Hyundai were taken to the hospital, with one in critical condition.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 16-year-old, was booked at the Douglas County Youth Center for theft of a motor vehicle valued over $5,000 after he was treated. The Hyundai was reported as stolen 30 minutes prior to the crash.

The other two passengers of the Hyundai were released.
