VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) - A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly stabbing his stepfather at The Grand at Lake Sheri Apartments in Valdosta, according to a Saturday press release from Valdosta police.

Jvonni Roblejo, 24, who had previously been detained by patrol officers, was taken to Lowndes County Jail on multiple felony charges. He has been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, according to VPD.

The incident occurred on Thursday at about 9:30 p.m. when officers received a call from the victim’s wife saying her husband was “bleeding and unresponsive.”

Valdosta police arrived and found a 46-year-old lying on the ground and bleeding out in multiple areas around his torso, per VPD.
