TRINITY, Texas — A multi-county pursuit ended after a suspect's vehicle's wheels fell off his truck.
Trinity Police said a 17-year-old male driver fled law enforcement through Tyler, Polk, Houston and Trinity Counties. His vehicle reportedly came to a stop in Hardin County, just outside of Kountze, with speeds of up to 100 miles per hour while avoiding spike strips.
"I want to thank the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Highway Patrol, the Houston County Sheriffs Office, and the various other agencies who assisted with this investigation," Police Chief Steven Jeter said in a statement Sunday. "Together we are making a difference."
