LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Sunday is the last day for shower chances with scattered storms firing over Mohave County and areas of far southern Nevada but there's still plenty of lingering moisture in the air.

Humidity levels were at 45% as of 2:30 p.m.

For areas of Clark County, residents can still expect to see showers and a few thunderstorms this afternoon, but most of those are expected to be in the higher terrain of the local mountains.

As of 2:30, radar is detecting rain activity moving over Boulder City, which dropped 0.39 inches in just 10 minutes with more expected.

Most locations should start to see storm coverage wrap up by sunset due to the loss of daytime heating.

Drier changes are on the horizon starting Monday through this week.
