MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Wisconsin State Patrol arrested a 29-year-old for his first alleged operating while intoxicated offense, while he had two children in his vehicle on Sunday.
A trooper witnessed a speeding vehicle heading westbound on I-94 in Jefferson County and conducted a traffic stop after 12:15 a.m.
The trooper determined the driver was under the influence and arrested him for an OWI.
The driver was taken to the Jefferson County Jail and had his blood drawn.
Officials say the 29-year-old Minnesota man will be charged with OWI with a passenger under the age of 16, intoxicants in the vehicle and speeding.
