PHOENIX — A suspect has been taken to a hospital following an officer-involved shooting in Phoenix on Sunday, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The incident happened near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Bell Road.

No officers were injured and there are no other suspects on the loose, according to police.

More details are expected to be released as they become available.

The Department of Public Safety Major Incident Division has taken over the investigation into the incident.
