DETROIT -- For the first time since the NFL started tracking sacks, the Detroit Lions have gone three consecutive games without surrendering one.

The league recognized sacks as an official stat starting in 1982, so we’re talking about something the Lions haven’t done in 43 years, until today.

It’s been a welcome resurgence from the offensive line after an ugly opener against the Green Bay Packers. Goff was sacked four times and hit another nine times against the Packers in Week 1.

Since then? Goff has not been taken down despite getting hit 15 times across the last three games. And while the offense wasn’t at the scorching hot levels of the previous two weeks. The Lions quarterback was able to take control of the offense and hit Amon-Ra St. Brown for two more touchdowns.
