OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A metro family has been left without answers for nearly ten years.

"Cynthia was a mother and her daughter has gone almost ten years at this point without her mom, without knowing what happened to her mom," said Amanda Newland-Davis, co-founder and director of investigative research, Oklahoma Cold Cases.

Cynthia Garcia was last seen June 1st, 2016 leaving her job at the FAA in Southwest Oklahoma City.

Her vehicle was found in her garage at her home in Moore and her purse was inside the home.

Her boss received a text from Cynthia stating she would not be at work the next day. Another text was sent to her daughter's father stating she did not feel well and would pick up Sophia on Saturday. Cynthia never showed to pick up her daughter.
