(FOX40.COM) — Updates are to come at the Yolo County Airport after Yolo County receives federal grant funding to support planning and maintenance efforts.

Two Federal Aviation Administration grants totaling more than $240,000 were given to Yolo County. Officials released that $170,620 will be put toward the runway rehabilitation planning, and $71,250 for the development of a Pavement Maintenance Management System.

Officials said both projects are part of the County's Airport Capital Improvement Plan, prioritizing investment for safe and reliable operations.
